only wash your palms. I use it as well, and if your hands are a distinctive shade lighter than the rest of you simply by washing, youre probably putting on too much or too dark a shade. It is supposed to be subtle, not turn you orange.

aveeno intense relief hand cream. has burgundy cap. pricy but works awesome, use it on the baby to if needed. doc recommended it actually. u dont need alot of it...What lotion and soap do you use on your hands?
Im in the same boat as you. I wash my hands so often and they are so cracked that i resorted to using sanitizer (germ-x) it has moisturizers in it and that way, atleast my hands can be cleaned and dried within a few seconds. and i know it kills 99.9 % of germs.
I keep Dial hand soap and Jergens hand lotion at every sink in my house. Every time I wash my hands I immediately put lotion on them. It works for me but you can also get intense healing hand creams.
Honestly I use a lot of bath and body works hand soaps and hand sanitizer. I also use Dove sometimes. My kids have never had a problem.
I have the same issue, i use Dove moisturizing lotion and love it....
I had to use baby soaps because my daughter had very sensitive skin.

Here i suggest u some best products like nivea soft,vaseline body moisturizer(with aloe vera) and ponds cold cream.





These really work well to me.I'm using nivea soft.Vaseline is a fantastic choice,especially for winter.





Apply coconut oil through out ur body everyday,1/2 hr before taking bath.


Coconut oil retains moisture in ur body and make ur skin soft and breath well.This natural oil is a perfect one for winter.





Also avoid harsh soap during winter,if u can afford,use body wash.At least avoid soap to ur face.Use mild face wash.Go for the best like ponds,dove etc.Drink more warm water too!





If u do waxing often,then apply oilve oil / coconut oil after that.Leave this for 1/2 hr atleast.Because coconut oil helps u in healing the burning sensation and retains moisture as well.Apply ice cube massage over it for 5 minutes.This makes u feel relax and fresh.

My two favorite types of moisterizing skin oils are Emu oil, and coconut oil. Sometimes it is good to spritz the skin with water to moisturize it before applying the oil to lock in the moisture. I have super dry skin too and I use Vaseline body oil right after my bath when my skin is still damp and then I rinse off and pat dry. Keeps my skin soft for 24 hours. It's amazing.





You can also try using an oil-based cream...
the best moisturizer is clean %26amp; clear moisturizer (Johnson %26amp; Johnson).

I usually don't break out from lotion recently I've had my hands turn red, itch, turn really hot, and they get little bumps. I stopped using perfumed lotions instead I tried Vaseline unscented and for sensitive skin and it still happened. What do I do? Well your probley allergic to that type of lotion. I know that im allergic to a lot of lotion makeup and stuff my skin is really sensetive and im guess yours is too. I would actally ask your doctor or someone who knows about allergic reactions and sensetive sakin and ask them what type of lotion you should use or keep trying diffrent ones untill you dont get itchy and red bumps. But I would try and ask someone who knows about this stuff first. But There is a lotion thats called Aveeno active naturals and this is all the stuff it says on the front:Daily moisturizing lotion, clinically proven to relieve dry skin,moisturizes for 24 hours, fragrance fre, with natural colloidal oatmeal. Anyways I use this lotion and I dont get bumps,rashes or read when I wear it. So if you dont want to go and ask your doctor maybe by this stuff and try it first and then if that doesnt work then you might want to go ask your doctorMy hands are breaking out from lotion, help?

Scrub your hands gently at the end of the night and dont sleep with the lotion.





I use to put lotion on my legs to try to make them smoother and I started breaking out. My mom said its cause I left the lotion on my skin for way to long all week and the natural oils your skin makes gets stuck under and in the lotion.

You are allergic to a common ingredient look at the bottles you have had a reaction to and see what is common. Personally I don't use lotions I use straight vaseline or a silicone hair treatment like ';Sunglitz'; it softens hair and smooths skin. Hope this helps!
oh no! ummmm well you must be allergic to some product in both vaseline and the other lotions you have tried. i would recommend going to a dermatologist and getting some lotion that wont irritate your skin prescribed
Maybe your allergic to the lotion. Also make sure you wash off the lotion at the end of each day, in order to prevent irritation.
Try another brand. Try Nivea.
use a gentle lotion and wash it often with cold water
maybe u have a heat rash ?
