Does anyone know any lotions or remedys to fix dry, scratchy hands?

i worked with sand paper today and now my fingers are dry, rough, scratched and peeling. i tried to pumas them but it didn't really help. I want smooth and soft hand again! any ideas? im going to wear gloves from now on.Does anyone know any lotions or remedys to fix dry, scratchy hands?

Anything good and thick should work, just put on a nice thick layer before bed. Gold Bond, Glysomed, Lubriderm.
haha.. sounds like you may have overworked your hands a bit with some sand paper! Try using some kind of medicated lotion on your hands, those rough patches may be tiny scratches and scrapes.. In the mean time, use some sort of lotion and maybe mix just a tiny dot of neosporin before applying the lotion! In due time you will have soft girly hands again! lol..
Wrap them in warm damp compresses.


Repeat add a soothing hand cream (anything that doesn't contain mineral oil) and keep the warm compress on.





Apply at bed time too - things soothe and rebuild at night.


While you sleep. May take a day or two to feel better.
