I use alot of lotions on my hand but they are so dry...what should i do??

i have to use them after everytime i wash my hands otherwise my hands will has alot of white stuff on itI use alot of lotions on my hand but they are so dry...what should i do??

Use quite a lot of vaseline, rub it in as much as possible,put a polythione bag on each hand and relax while you let your hands sweat. Leave them for about half an hour. When you take them off rub your hands together then wash off excess if you need to, otherwise just leave them. You'd be surprised (or maybe not) at how drying a lot of hand lotions are. They might say 'lotion' on the bottle, but their ingredients make for a very drying combination. It feels good when you put it on... but the long term effects are not what the user intended.


Try using just plain Vaseline - or petroleum jelly - on your hands.


When you sleep, get some soft cotton gloves... many pharmacies have them... and put a generous amount of the jelly on your hands, then the gloves. You'll wake to softer hands.
Oh, no do not use pure plain vaseline it's really petroleum and a product that is not good for you - and dries you out more.

Read labels anything with a mineral oil in it is drying..





Try the new Cocoa oil/gel by Vaseline (brand not product)


it's clear and a gel with a brown top it's wonderful for dry skin.


Use it in the shower - and it's great to wash hands but be cautious about running water on hands for a period of time and also the soap you use..


Use pure and natural creams and oils nothing mineral or petroleum based.
use Curel. after a week of using the hand cream, my hands were softer. i also applied it on my elbows and now it's smoother. i only use it at night (before going to sleep).
use E45 lotion. its the best for dry skin but keep using it incase ur skin will dry out again. you only have to use it once or twice a day but it realli works. if that doesnt work for you, try getting free samples of lotion of the internet then you can find out wot one suits you best and plus... the samples r free!
