Should I apply face lotion with my hands or with a cotton ball?

wash ur hand and lotion away...u dont want bits of cotton on ur face!
Pat it on with your fingers. Using a cotton ball can be abrasive. It also uses more lotion as the ball soaks some of it up.
As long as your hands are clean, you can apply it with your hands. It should be fine and also apply it with the tips of your fingers and even pat it lightly on areas around the eyes due to the thin patch of skin there..

You can choose. I used to apply it with a cotton ball but I found doing so applied my lotion unevenly. If you put a dime size amount into the middle of your palm and rub your hands together (make sure your hands are clean!) it works great.
if its good enough for your face, its good enough for your hands.
