What is a good lotion for extremely dry hands?

There are so many lotions available that I'm not sure what to use. My hands are extremely dry, they often crack and at times even bleed. Thanks for any help. What is a good lotion for extremely dry hands?
You haven't seen anything until you've seen MY extremely dry hands in my extremely dry climate! Ha ha, seriously though, get those cotton gloves you put on your hands after lotion and a tub of ';Aquaphor'; by Eucerin. Smooth it onto your hands at night and put the gloves on. I use it every night and though I've found that it doesn't make my hands totally soft and smooth (nothing does anymore except to be somewhere wet. Too bad I'm 16!) but it does keep them from splitting open.

I'm really sorry about your hands, I know how much of a pain it is.

Oh! I know you didn't mention this but if you're also having trouble with your nails, use Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme. It REALLY helps. What is a good lotion for extremely dry hands?
what you need is a good hand cream. try Norwegian, Eucerin, or something else along that line. you might also try moisture gloves to wear when you sleep at night. hope that helps.
omg, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Handcream is my life saver!

i had hands like yours, and after using it for 2-3 days my hands are silky smooth.
How about pig lard!?

Works just fine for Granny.

Sometimes I like to get undressed and roll around in lard. I love the slimy residue that it leaves.
