What is a good lotion for a gardeners hands?

I have been doing yard work all day and I have put lotion on 4 times and they are still very dry and quite painfull. What is a good lotion for a gardeners hands?
Corn Huskers!..... really!!!What is a good lotion for a gardeners hands?
Gloves are better than any lotion... the key is not to need that crap...
Cetaphil by Galderma [I order at Drugstore.com] - it is not greasy, absorbs very well, and definitely works the best for us when our skin is very dry and itchy - we've definitely tried lots of things, and have really settled on this as the best.
I have tried all types and found this by far the best.I have these tubes of cream especially for gardeners hands.

One is hand recovery, It has gritty bits in it for getting rid of rough skin. The other is hand therapy which is a moisturiser. Its made by Crabtree and Evelyn. I live in uk and can buy it here.Depends where you live I guess ,as to whether you can get hold of it.
A great product for this and many other skin conditions is actually a veterinary product. It is called ';Dura-Creme';. You can usually find it at a feed store. We have been using it in our family for several years. Don't let them sell you a substitute if they don't have Dura-Creme. Unlike Dura-Creme, some of the others are not water-based and thus very greasy.
go to a pharmacy,
